Community Led Development for Mangakino – The Community Led Development Group is seeking name change suggestions. To date they have received eight via the boxes in the Four Square and Mangakino Community Agency. These will remain in place until 24 November. The community was invited to begin the process of establishing a local leadership group. On 11 August at the community meeting it was agreed that Mangakino would participate in a Community-led initiative. The community met on 25 August at St Johns Hall, to determine a process by which Mangakino would select its leadership group to drive the development process.
