Daphne’s Historical Archive – Turn Back the Pages

A treasure trove of Mangakino District history. Daphne's Historical archive - Turn Back the Pages - is a collection featuring photos, cuttings, newsletters, scrapbooks, newspapers, videos and general memorabilia. The focus is on Mangakino and the Dam construction, Marotiri, Mokai, Oruanui, Tihoi, Tirohanga, Whakamaru and Taupo. Daphne and Dave Cotton came from the South Island in March 1967 to a Land Development Farm. Daphne has collected books and information ever since. Turn Back the Pages opened on 22 August 2001. It is Daphne's pleasure to share her hobby with others who want to find out about the area, do research or just enjoy and remember.
